Was nodding along some lines.

Beautifully written.

Loved the way it turned at the end. 😊

Thank you, Carlos. That means a lot. It’s always a strange alchemy trying to land something that cuts and lifts at once, so I’m really glad the turn at the end landed for you.

“The weight shifted

And settled on my back

Bowed me in two

With no way to unpack”

My god. This was so incredibly powerful. Deep, layered and well written. I loved every moment of this read! It struck such a chord with me, and resonated 🧡

Amanda, thank you so much. This means a lot to me. That piece came from a really raw place, and knowing it resonated like this… I’m honored. Truly.

It was so unfiltered, honest, and heartfelt. Despite the bravery this took to write and share, there was a quiet vulnerability to it also that was palpable. All around, remarkably moving.

You keep showing up with exactly the kind of presence and thoughtfulness that makes this space feel like more than a platform. I’m grateful for this connection.

Such great imagery. I not only felt it all, but resonated with it strongly. I’m glad you picked up the reins. It is not an easy thing to convince ourselves to do when we feel so heavy under the weight of our past. Thank you for sharing. 🦋💚

Seriously, thank you for reading and for your comment.

I’ve experienced some huge shifts in how I see myself and the world through this healing process.

My hope is that I’ve articulated it clearly enough that others can feel some of that, too.

This sounds like the "First Daughter syndrome" it's real and it takes a lot to overcome it.

That’s a powerful lens, and I think there’s definitely overlap. I wasn’t the eldest, but I was the only daughter and the one expected to bridge chaos. Different role, same weight. It stays with you.
