I write under the name Liora: a pen name born from the need for space, safety, and truth.

I'm a veteran, former federal security professional, and now work in corrections. I've spent years inside systems: military, bureaucratic, and carceral. I've seen firsthand how they fail the people they claim to serve.

My work is raw, reflective, and often unflinching. I write poems, essays, and stories rooted in trauma, survival, injustice, and healing.

This isn’t content for content’s sake. It’s about connection, clarity, and calling things what they are. If you’ve ever felt invisible, enraged, or caught between burning down and holding on, there’s something here for you.

I’m drawn to the quiet cracks in people and systems, where pressure builds, where truth hides, where transformation begins.

I write from lived experience, hard-earned perspective, and a need to voice what others try to ignore. Some pieces are raw. Some are rhythmic. All are original.
