Chapter one ✅️ Definitely an interesting start with the prison setup and musings on life behind the bars with its particular intricacies such as gangs. It vaguely reminded me of S.King's "Green Mile" and "The Shawshank Redemption" in terms of the subject matter and I was into it. The scene where he discoveres the girl - I though thematically good but the prose could have corresponded using more immediacy and tighter phrasing. But! I'm not an expert of course. Just someone who has been recently taking more interest in the craft. Curious to see how this develops.
