He begged so sweetly to come in my room.
GG. Greedy Goblin. AKA Chaos Monkey.
Big eyes.
I told him, “Okay, but let the other kitties sleep.”
Guess I needed a break from writing anyway.
For now, here’s one on theme:
Home
Lazy afternoon
Drifts away so soon
Wake from a nap
You’re purring next to me
You climb onto my chest
And gently start to knead
Meaningful glance my way
Mother did you see?
So warm and
So perfect
As you gently nuzzle my clothes
I lean up
Kiss your forehead
And boop you with my nose
How I love
The quiet days
Listening to your purrs
Your presence
Keeps me calm
As my laptop whirs
Time to write
One more kiss
I pull you closer
Ah, such bliss
