Well described Liora. There is such delicate balance between overstating and underestimating, but you wrote with flair giving ground to feelings so raw, so real and so deep. 🦋
Thank you so much, Brenda. I wasn’t sure how this one would land—it felt like walking a tightrope between strength and unraveling. I’m really glad it reached you.💜
As someone who has at times experienced issues with anxiety, I can really relate to some of what you're describing, but you've used your experience of it to create something that reads wonderfully well and really has a deep and forceful impact. A wonderful piece of poetry.
Thank you so much, Gary. That really means a lot — especially coming from someone who’s walked through anxiety too. I’m glad the poem resonated with you; turning that kind of experience into something meaningful is always my hope. 💜
That was a powerful and an intense poem Liora. Thanks for sharing it. Some of the lines are very painful. It was must of been a difficult thing to write / exercise. You’ve also managed to keep a formal scheme through it. Which is impressive. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you so much — that really means a lot coming from you. This one was heavy to write, but shaping it through form helped keep it from swallowing me whole. I deeply respect how you bring emotional truth through history in your work, so I take that as high praise. 💜

Sometimes we need to speak pain to be free of it. I’m glad this helped. It will help others as well who read it.
I hope so — that’s really my goal with these poems: to help others name their own pain, so they can see it more clearly and start to move forward.
"wish her far away,
restricted airway."
Wow, powerful imagery.
You really did a great job with this one. It's deep in meaning and feeling.
Powerful. Gripping. I felt anxiety climbing up my throat.
